What a hidden gem in OUG! The dan dan noodles were my favourite, so flavourful and satisfying. Overall, the food, drinks, and even the cake were pretty good. Will I return? Of course yes! Can’t wait to try the other dishes on the menu!!!

Came here on Sunday lunch. A lot of customers. Ordered smoked duck mushroom carbonara and salted egg butter chicken plus strawberry matcha. But waitress told us need to wait a bit to be served as a lot of orders in front. This I can understand. Food was served. Delicious. Although price is bit higher but I know why full house. They do serve cake too. Menu has not many choices but a lot of customers. Managed by a group of youngsters.

Ordered the Ebi Katsu Sando, it’s delicious with a decent portion, and I really liked the sauce combination! Also tried the Miso Salmon Chazuke; we didn’t realise it was fish broth, so the overall taste felt a bit bland as we were expecting a tea-based version. We went there for dinner, slightly difficult to find parking (had to park at roadside and walk), but the place wasn’t crowded during our visit. Menu choices for food and drinks are slightly limited, but worth a try.

We ordered the Kimchi Seafood Risotto and Braised Pork Belly Noodles — both were really flavorful and delicious! The Earl Grey milk tea & Pomelo Macha cake were also good. The iced black coffee was just okay for my taste.

The food is absolutely delicious!!!! For a café, they’re definitely one of the top players! I absolutely love their ochazuke; I’d say it’s easily among the top five in KL! It may look simple, but the flavours are perfectly balanced. As for the braised pork noodles, the noodles are wonderfully springy. The braised pork itself tastes pretty normal to me, but the braised soft-boiled egg is truly impressive!

Been here for the second time, this time during lunch while working—and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! The food was great—ordered the mapo tofu this round and really enjoyed it. Service was excellent. The servers were kind and friendly, regularly checking in to refill water with minimal disruption to my workflow. The ambience was beyond cozy. I sat near the glass window with a small table, perfect for getting some work done. I comfortably stayed for about four hours, and it was just the right environment for focus and calm. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back more often. Thanks again for the excellent service!

Firstly when look menu photo didn't put much expectations on the foods, but end up the foods did impressed me, Dan Dan mee, noodle very tender and from hand make, salted egg butter chicken, meat very juicy and marinade well with flavour. Both taste great, then only things is that the Dan Dan mee price a bit pricey, price almost same as salted egg butter chicken. The the seating inside very limited, if more then 4 people will be difficult.

Love the vibes here! The salted egg yolk chicken was bursting with flavor and paired so well with the soft fluffy egg. The strawberry matcha were also super refreshing. But the highlight? Their cakes—moist, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Soulyard is now my go-to café for comfort food and desserts.
